Hospice volunteers play an important role in the Oakland Hospice care team. Their presence helps create a supportive environment where patients and families feel comforted, respected and cared for throughout the hospice journey.
Whether spending time with patients, offering respite for caregivers or simply providing a listening ear, volunteers help bring connection, compassion and dignity to those receiving care.
